Soon, Delhi Development Authority will issue demand letters cum allotment to all the allottees of Rohini residential scheme in upcoming two weeks and the development will be completed by the end of March as mentioned by the executive head of the authority on Monday. The authority will finalize the LAND POOLING POLICY at the end of April.
DDA said, “Registration letters to 13,574 registrants have been issued out of 14,288 registrants and soon remaining registrants will receive their letters. We have given the deadline of 180 days to deposit the documents and land cost and possession will be granted once land cost and documents are received.”
Those who have taken the case to the Supreme Court for the long delay in handing over the plots after 37 years and construction development have not been started recently and it cannot be completed in the two months. Now, DDA has to submit its reply over the petition. Rahul Gupta said, “DDA has to reply to the petition and we are waiting for the answer from DDA that why they aren’t able to do anything in the past 37 years apart from issuing statements,” Rahul Gupta also adds that DDA cannot issue allotment cum demand letters unless the completion of the infrastructure development.
DDA launched Rohini residential scheme in 1981 for MIG, LIG and EWS/Janta categories. According to DDA, they have allotted 23 shops and all of them will become operational by April end.
According to the Vice Chairman of DDA, Udai Pratap Singh, authority will conduct a public hearing for the LAND POOLING POLICY and it will be implemented by the end of the next month.
